"Super Happy Story" revived and retooled for 2017

"Guys, you don’t have to worry - this is a happy story! It is SO happy. If it were a food it would be Skittles, if it were a day it would be Friday night, if it were a thing it would be a really cute puppy! It is really, really, really happy. It’s got a happy ending, it’s got a happy middle, everything turns out OK and everyone lives happily ever after. This is a happy story. But it’s also one that’s about depression."

Sally is a happy person, but she's also got an illness - one that makes her feel like she isn't the person she wants to be. Written by Jon Brittain with music by Matthew Floyd JonesA Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) is about getting better, and our fear of what other people think. Mixing elements of storytelling, live music and sketch comedy, it's a fun, silly and sad show for anyone who has a brain that hasn't always been on their side.
